Our TruTIG back cap range has specifically been designed to withstand a variety of temperature throughout the welding process. We have short and long back caps available within our range which have been manufactured for high-quality performance but will differ in welding applications.
 
Back Caps are designed to simply twist into the back of the torch to prevent the tungsten from slipping as well as sealing the torch head. These apply pressure to the back end of the collet to force it against the collet body.
 
TruTIg 57Y04 short back cap is a smaller back cap to allow welding in restricted areas that requires non-standard tungsten.
