Johnson & Allen JAP penetrant is a solvent-removable red liquid penetrant ideal for undertaking portable NDT and formulated to have excellent penetrating properties.
A red contrast dye, JAP penetrant is capable of locating surface open flaws and discontinuities such as cracks and porosity. It can also be used on non-porous ceramics and similar materials. It can be used on welds, forgings, pressure vessels, castings, general metal work and for leak testing applications.
