Here at Truflame Welding Equipment, we are passionate about supporting the community around us. Over the years we have worked closely with charities including a volunteer-run group called Street Friends and charity Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Street Friends are just as passionate about supporting people as we are. They are volunteers who enjoy helping others and use their evenings and weekends to support the homeless or people on the streets without judgment. Providing a hot meal, warm clothing, and comforting ear to make sure they’re ok, especially within these difficult times of a global pandemic, is increasingly important. Not only do they provide essentials but also further support where necessary and possible.
As this is a voluntary run group, they need the kind donations of others to help support their mission to improve lives. These donations can be clothes, food and any cash donations you can give. Muscular Dystrophy UK is a charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to fight muscle-wasting conditions. This charity supports high-quality research to find effective treatments and cures that they will not find until they have found them for all muscle-wasting conditions. At Muscular Dystrophy, they are passionate about improving people’s lives with muscle-wasting conditions.
From 1959 they have been leading the drive to get faster access to emerging treatments for families in the UK. Specialist NHS care and support they need with the right help at the right time. To ensure they are trying to help people live as independently as possible.
