Flux-cored Welding Wire
Flux-cored welding wire is a type of MIG welding wire that has a hollow centre filled with flux that works well when welding thicker metals. They are designed to deliver better performance in various welding applications including vertical welding and flat welding.
Flux arc welding is a semi-automatic or automatic arc welding process that requires a continuously-fed consumable tubular electrode containing a flux and a constant-voltage or less commonly a constant-current welding power supply. Flux-cored Welding wire is manufactured by filling a steel strip in pipe form with various chemical compounds. Flux-cored wires can be used with any type of GMAW machine with or without a gas shield depending on the product type.
